In Singapore, there are many options for desserts and snacks after a meal; like pancake, rojak, muah chee, ice kacang, chendol etc and I couldn't resist looking around for something similar after the pad kra pow at the mall next to Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Crepe from Crepe Town seemed like a good choice! While there were savory options, I am more traditional and prefer to go with sweeter offerings. Banana and chocolate it shall be!
I always find crepe making fascinating; like creating a piece of edible art that culminates into a product that's visually appealing, and reminds me of an over the top 2D ice cream cone.
Time to tuck in!
The thin batter, that enveloped just half a banana and drizzles of chocolate sauce, was crispy and similar to those ultra thin pancake we have in Singapore.
Good as a biscuit-like snack for after meals but the pricing of 60 baht, same as the pad kra pow I had, was expensive, I think, for a takeaway stall with not much ingredients.
