Xin Rong Ji Fried Hokkien Mee (新榮記福建炒蝦麵) @ Food Park Coffee Shop in AMK Block 339 [Singapore]

I had a craving for min jiang kueh after my hair treatment at AMK central and decided to walk over to Teck Ghee Court Hawker Centre, where Belinda's Pancake is at. Sadly, it was already closed for the day!

Disheartened, I didn't know what else to have since I was so fixated on satisfying my craving that day. Eventually, it was the enticing aroma of fried hokkien mee from the above stall that brought me out of my misery. "Uncle, one plate please".

With a mix of bee hoon and yellow noodle, it didn't appear to be visually appealing although looks can definitely be deceiving, especially when it comes to food.

This was so delicious; the broth was full of seafood goodness with the noodles totally soaked in the flavor! It would have been perfect if the wok-hei can be intensified, and an increased generosity with the pork lard. Came with two prawns and plenty of pork belly, the chilli was a tad too spicy for my liking.

Almost licked clean the plate!
