Middle Station of the Langkawi Sky Cab (Cable Car) @ Kedah [Malaysia]

The middle station, at 650 meters above sea level, was our first stop on the cable car ride in Langkawi and since we can disembark; there's no reason why we would reject it.

Especially when we had just endured one of the steepest cable car climb in the world at 42° and that's not a comfortable piece of news for someone who is terrified (yet mildly excited) of height!

It's always good to be on hard ground where the world doesn't shake and wobble with just a light breeze. Coupled that with a breathtaking view; factors that would soothe my nerves.

Rules - did you notice that, increasingly, many places of attractions have added no drone flying as one of the donts? It's rather tempting to buy one though as the view from up there can never be compared to what you hold to take using your hands.

Geological information on the machinchang formation that resulted in the mountain range we see today that's over "550 million years old".

Mount Mat Cincang where we were on stands at 710 meters at its highest but isn't the tallest mountain in Langkawi. The one who took the crown is the 881-meter tall Gunung Raya in the middle of the island.

See where that red arrow points too? I actually blogged about it a few days ago; the arched bridge at Seven Wells! Click here for more pictures.

Another view of the cable car system; base station to middle station is about 1,700 meters.

Let's turn to the other side where the top station is located at about 450 meters away. There's another interesting attraction on the top station although from this angle, you wouldn't think too much about it.

Look to your right!

From here, you would know it's a bridge and what's so amazing about the bridge? Wait till you take the cable car from middle to top station; that's when we were literally blown away by its beauty!

Mystical feel with clouds shrouding the top station even though i am more worried that they will reduce the visibility for any good photos! Hope they disperse quickly!
