Weiwuying Metropolitan Park - Just to Check Out National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts

This visit to Weiwuying Metropolitan Park could be described as crazy to some; driving for over six kilometers to a place simply to catch the sight of a building that appeared to be stunning in a YouTube video!

After parking within Weiwuying Metropolitan Park, we proceeded to check if there is any elevated platform. Loving the cool weather which made walking in the park so relaxing.

Amazed to see so many sparrows! Have you noticed that Singapore seems to be overwhelmed with crows and pigeons?! I prefer sparrows and even the noisy red-breasted parakeets.

Found a spot for me to check out the building!
p.s. you can see a faint sight of it in the above pic.

A unique observatory tower.

Given the facing, I am guess this would be the ultimate spot for me. To be fair, the YouTube video was taken using a drone, which I have yet to consider buying given the differing guidelines across countries.

The spectacular National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts that looked like a landed spaceship! The photograph doesn't give it enough credit as it was partially blocked and given the winter season, the grass surrounding its outdoor amphitheatre wasn't as green.

Thought of checking out the "ground floor" but I am guessing it wouldn't be any difference; in fact, the view could be worse given that there are trees with risk of blocking the view.

Enjoying the beauty of the sky instead. Despite the disappointment, I thought this visit was mentally soothing. We didn't rush to go anything, weather was nice, park was pretty quiet even though it was popular.

Even watching the fishes was therapeutic!
