Alluvia Chocolatier @ Da Nang in Vietnam

When it comes to chocolates from Vietnam, tourists would recall the brand Maison Marou Chocolate first as it's commonly sold in the airports. However, I personally prefer another brand; Alluvia Chocolatier.

I first chanced upon Alluvia Chocolatier at Hanoi, and was surprised to find it so close to where I stayed when I was at Da Nang last year! Of course it meant stepping in and purchasing a few dozen bars as gifts for my family and friends.

Interior didn't differ much from the branch I went to in Hanoi and prices seemed similar to what I paid for a year ago. p.s. that's the beauty of blogging as I could refer to the photographs I took and published in the post for comparison!

What surprised me was that just a mere two hundred meters away, along the same road, would be another Alluvia Chocolatier shop! What's the point of opening another chocolate store so nearby!? And right in the middle of these two shops was Maison Marou Chocolate Flagship Cafe

Anyway, the second Alluvia shop I went to was bigger, with a cafe concept and termed as a chocolate house. However, the seating space was quite limited, and not as wow as Maison Marou

One thing remains unchanged; the boxes of diced up chocolate samplings! Unless you absolutely detest chocolate, there would definitely be one that appeals to your taste buds! My personal favorites would be the 70% dark chocolate and 40% milk chocolate.
