It's meant to be a surprise for my housemate who is celebrating his birthday but bloody ass had such a quick shower; i didn't have time to light up all the candles and switch off the lights! Oh well, he still got a shock when he opened the bedroom door and i screamed "happy birthday"!
That person is Alex; my 'model' for many postings in this blog. As the "circuit breaker" is in force, i can't invite any friends or family to join the celebration and share the cake. Hence, it's just him and me.
Kinda funny to have just two persons singing happy birthday. By the way, Alex looks real young for his age and had been mistaken for a poly student even though he is just a few years shy of 40!
After making his wish, it's time to blow out the 3 large and 6 small candles.
I should have removed the candles but Alex figured that we could only manage so much cake. To be honest, i wanted to get a smaller cake but the next size down was a slice which wouldn't be sufficient for both of us!
In case you are wondering what cake this is; it's the pandan kaya cake from Bengawan Solo that's Alex's favourite cake of all time! I don't care; he better ensure he could finish all the cake in 3 days so that i don't waste my money.
