The nondescript, pop-up stall wouldn't have attracted my attention and even less so when its main offerings appeared to be bubble tea which, although remained popular in Singapore, is something i don't quite crave given its high sugar content and expensive price tag.
Alex was drawn to it though (at Krabi Walking Street), especially its captivating notice declaring free bubbles (black or golden) / grass jelly (noodle / square)! However, there's something else even more jaw dropping.
This small cup of Taiwan milk with grass jelly squares cost a mere 25 baht; equivalent to only about S$1.10, it was delicious and definitely something we should equip ourselves with while shopping at the night market. Still a tad too sweet for me, i didn't mind taking a few sips as the pricing was so economical. The only thing; Alex should have requested for pearls!
