Flight from Bangkok to Singapore - Disappointing Sunset

In the past, i would pay extra to secure a window seat for my self-planned trips as i love the feeling of being high up in the sky, surrounded by clouds.

But now that i travel quite frequently; i would leave it to the airline to choose from me although i should have opted for seat selection for my return flight from Bangkok back to Singapore in January as we would have been able to catch the sunset!

Sadly, the window seat was taken by another person. However, seeing how i kept peering at the window, the person volunteered to exchange seat with me! Very kind of him right?!

While the glare was too much for my camera, you can still see the beautiful orange-y sky right beneath the clouds. I was hoping the clouds can disperse so that i can capture the sunset!

Well, in a way i did although it was constricted to just that pocket of space which seems like someone with a torchlight was shining it through a keyhole.

Nevertheless, it's still a fine sight outside the plane; with the hues changing with the setting sun and if you are  above land, you can also see the houses being lighted up and in rural areas; smoke coming out from the kitchens.
