Just yesterday, i shared my post on the tender grilled pork skewers at Terminal 21 in Facebook and my sister commented that the price on the roadside stalls was only 10 baht; halved the price i indicated!
I am aware of the vast difference in pricing but there are always people (like i) who usually give street food a miss due to their perceived poor hygiene conditions. However, even i couldn't resist the enticing aroma when i strolled past the above stall located at Bangkok's red light district.
The good news was that there's no skewer left out in the open for god knows how long and the stall operator was grilling new skewers over the charcoal pit! Despite my reservations, we decided to buy 3 skewers; one for each of us! It was delicious; while comparable in size and taste with the skewers at Terminal 21, the ones here won us over simply because they came sizzling hot and juicy as hell!
Plus the fact that each one only cost an irresistible 10 baht (less than S$0.50). Honestly, Bangkok never fails to amaze me everything i visit!
