Pork Cutlet Bento Lunch from Yahu Ekiben (雅湖鐵路便當) @ Fenqihu Railway Town [Taiwan]

Back in 2024, I had wanted to check out the popular railway bento from Yahu Ekiben but the tour company had already prepared lunch at Fenchihu Hotel. 

Therefore, now that I am back again in 2023, I made it a point to visit! So here we are, seated at the alfresco area since there wasn't any indoor seating. However, a sad news hit us shortly; their popular braised pork belly was sold out!

So, we had to relegate to this lower option; the pork cutlet bento. To be honest, it was overflowing with ingredients! For a cutlet, it wasn't deep fried with batter. The meat was just a thin slice, albeit a bit too thin for satisfaction and only lightly seasoned which wasn't a bad thing. Maybe it's the standard here, why the need to add bamboo shoots!
