Bông Food & Drink Cafe @ Da Nang in Vietnam

It was a long walk under the hot sun for both Alex and I, and I was absolutely pleased to chance upon the air-conditioned Bông Food & Drink, a cafe brand that has quite a few outlets in Da Nang city. 

With its rose icon, I was expecting maybe food items and beverages that were rose based. Turned out I was wrong; categories were milk tea, fruit tea, macchiato, ice blended, milo / chocolate, vietnamese coffee, etc. And none has rose in them.

There were two upper levels which would have been preferable just so I could take some time-lapsed videos but the air-conditioning was too weak and the balcony section was too warm for my liking. Oh well, ground floor would be our base then! 

Kumquat and Salted Plum Tea - mine, which turned out to be a great choice! I requested for less sweetness and the result was an immediate cool relief for my throat as the liquid traveled down my throat and having the sour plum added to the shiokness! Thirst quenching! 

Guava Tea Aloe Vera - Alex's order; too sweet in my honest opinion and I would advise customers to exercise caution when drinking as I found guava seeds, which can crack the teeth if accidentally bite on! Flavour wise, still okay.

But my Kumquat and Salted Plum Tea is still better.
