The Outdoor Children Activity Area (Adults can Join too) beside Han River Bridge @ Da Nang in Vietnam

I enjoy walking and since it was still early after we checked out the Dragon Bridge show; I persuaded Alex to explore an interesting area that I chanced upon while jogging earlier in the evening.

It's literally clusters of tables and chairs that sprouted at empty spaces along the river promenade. And they would only appear in the evening, just like night markets.

While the target group appeared to be children, I do see many adults too, although the activity limited to them were mainly for craft work or when they congregate for drinks at the few F&B makeshift stores along the stretch.

Should you prefer to just sit and not do anything, you could also order drinks and just sit by the river, watching the changing colors of Da Nang city when night falls.

Young kids are fascinated with toys; so why not just cordon off a space and throw tons of toys for them to play with?! p.s. I didn't ask about the rates though. From the look of the child, my assumption is that he/she didn't know which to start first!

Most of the stalls were focused on the above.
Plain looking plaster statues.

With the use of battery-operated LED lights that illuminated the area, many customers were buried in the activity; the use of brushes and paint to liven up the plaster statues! I wasn't keen to spend hours but on second thought, I shall consider if there is a pig statue and it can serve as a piggy bank!

Another popular activity; the kiddy rides!

The stretch was quite long and we didn't want to venture any further as the next bridge connecting us to our hotel would be 2.8 kilometers away! Whatever the case, I am going to bring my mom to check out this area in our upcoming trip.
