I was under the assumption that my 18-55mm lens was finally reaching the end of its life cycle a few weeks ago when its autofocus function suddenly went haywire.

That's when i took the unprecedented rash move to quickly check the web for a likely replacement and place my order for a brand new 50mm lens with http://www.valuebasket.com/!
The rate was really good [it was the cheapest] and i received the bubble foam package within 5 days [shipping was free so it was savings with more savings]!
There is a problem though; 50mm is not suitable for the landscape shots i am more inclined to take. Most of the times, i would prefer a picture that would take in more irrelevant information and then perform the necessary cropping via Photoshop.
Therefore, it was with great sadness (and a dash of stupidity) that i have decided to cut my losses and sell off the lens [Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G]. For those who are interested, do note that it is barely two weeks old and i am willing to let it go for a non-negotiable price of S$270!
