A sudden downpour (typical of the rainy December season in Singapore) translated into a rare temperature drop that would make most people crave for soupy stuff.
In the case of my mom, it worsened her craving and she didn't hesitate to point her index finger at the above stall. In usual circumstances, she would have just dilly dally and couldn't make a decision!
Given that the stall should be quite reputable with accolades and a relatively long queue compared to the rest of the stalls within the hawker centre, i thought it would be worth a try and then blog about it.
Sliced Fish Bee Hoon with Milk - honestly, i seldom take milk in slice fish bee hoon but that's what mom requested and i did as per her request. Maybe it was the wrong choice as i didn't feel that the broth was exceptional to have resulted in a longer than expected queue.
There were the usual bits of flatfish which enhanced the flavour a bit even though overall, it was still a little too flat. We were however more impressed with the generous amount of chunky sliced fish!
