Egg Milkcurd [香蛋奶花] @ Chomp Chomp Hawker Centre [Yummy Rainbow Milkcurd 品味七彩奶花], Serangoon Gardens

Seriously, it's time to forget about the recent fad on bean curds that has resulted in incredibly long queues in hawker centres like Old Airport Road food centre. 

Egg milkcurd (which i erroneously assumed to be egg beancurd) should be the one you should be looking out for! And there's no better place than to have it at Chomp Chomp

This vendor has been around for as long as i remember even though the location has shifted around two times within the same food centre before finally making its home next to, ironically, a beancurd stall. 

Silky smooth with a jelly-like texture and subtle eggy fragrance that was far better than the beancurd 'pudding' that is currently in the rage. In fact, i am utterly surprised egg milkcurd does not seem to attract as many passionate followers. 

Some people would compare this egg milkcurd to custard pudding but if such an example is given, i have no qualms about weighing the new age beancurd against many other great tasting puddings in the market.

Yes, i am damn protective of this egg milkcurd!

Additional Information
There are other types of milkcurd for selection, including mango, strawberry, almond, chocolate, bandung, honeydew, mocha and you can choose to have toppings like yam paste (my favourite), gingko nuts, attap chee, red beans, longan, aballing etc.
