There is no lack of supply for food and beverage at Sun World Bana Hills but as a tourist destination, there's always the fear of stepping into an eatery that fails to deliver!
However, we had two nights at this "theme park" and sometimes, the craving just came; as in this case when I felt like having fried chicken! And voila, there's this Rosa Fried Chicken next to the Rose Garden. p.s. I talked about wanting to check it out on my first visit to Bana Hills!
I am being careful - one piece of traditional fried chicken at 70,000 dong (about S$3.50)! Not exactly cheap but it's a large piece, served on ceramic plate (like KFC in the past), and I needed to curb my craving. At my age, sometimes, discipline can take a backseat; gonna die in time to come anyway, so long we don't overindulge!
While served hot, the meat was okay tasting (needed the help of sauces), pretty juicy even though I have a preference for certain part (i.e. thigh that is), which I couldn't and don't know how to pronounce in Vietnamese.
Major problem, however, rest with the batter. Overly thick and cloying; it felt too much after a while and by the time I was done, I was glad I only had one chicken piece, to be shared with three persons.
