Each time i am in Singapore Expo, this particular eatery carrying the theme of the land known as the Las Vegas of the East will always catch my attention.
BUT, it's a treat by my sister; hence, in order to remain in the cohesive family circle i hold dear to my heart, i had no choice (a good, valid excuse)!
Thick Toast with Floss
Thick Toast with Floss
Portuguese Baked 1/2 Chicken
This is one dish i will come back for!!! The baked chicken was really different with a distinctive marmite kick!
Not to be taken by its own though. The taste can be too overbearing!
Macau Double Skin Steam Milk
Never been a favourite for Cantonese desserts like this, i took a spoonful just for the sake of trying.
It did not exude the usually strong eggy taste, which is a must for this smooth dessert, but it is exactly THAT strong eggy taste i dislike.
Macau Sliced Fish Congee
Pork Chop Bun
Officially MY dish, i cannot compare it with the famous one from Macau since i have never been there (sponsors anyone?)!
I found the combination to be fabulous; the pork chops were deliciously juicy and the hard French roll made biting more difficult, allowing your taste buds to slowly discern the meat juice!
Macau Baked Pork Chop Rice
My sister likes it although my memory was pretty fuzzy on this. I thought it was quite normal.. Opps.
Sour Plum Calamansi
Love this for its sweetness-sourness!
Especially cooling for a super hot day!!
