King of Bitter Melon (檸檬屋正宗苦瓜原汁) @ Ximending in Taipei [Taiwan]

My virgin experience trying white bitter gourd (known as bitter melon in Taiwan) back in 2014 wasn't good enough for me to ever want to try it again! However, I decided to try again since it's my dad's first visit to Taiwan and he had never had bitter gourd in juice before.

According to KK, our tour guide, this King of Bitter Melon was the most popular at Ximending district and this was evidenced by the queue in front of the stall.

Top 4 must-drinks in Taiwan! Of course, we have to go with the ranked number one honey bitter melon original juice.

110 Taiwan dollars (about S$4.50) a cup - thanks to the honey, the first sip was an immediate sweetness although issue was the aftertaste, when the bitterness sank in. Nevertheless, it was still refreshingly healthy; to the extent I feel an immediate improvement (lowering) to my LDL cholesterol.
