Mil Toast House @ EmQuartier in Bangkok [Thailand]

After a heavy dinner with our Thai friend, dessert would be the next best thing and the same friend suggested popping by Mil Toast House @ EmQuartier, where we can maybe get some tea and spend the rest of the night chatting! 

But, I was tempted by the bingsu poster! Counting three of us, I guess it's a reasonable dessert to be shared for fat and calorie averaging! Pity my mom wasn't with me as she is a fan of this Korean shaved ice.

As the name of the shop suggested, their specialty was on toast. Mind you, this was 8pm and after dinner. There's no way I am going to bulk up on the starch so close to sleeping time! 

Iced Cocoa - Alex's beverage which he enjoyed loads for its thickness, richness and sweetness! Frankly, it's a bit too much after the dinner we had earlier.

Hot Strawberry Tea - I prefer something lighter and was totally expected strawberry in a sachet! Surprise, it was literally strawberry with pulps, and even a slice of strawberry, and tasted more sour than overladen with sugar. This explained its high price tag of almost S$6! 

Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsu - looking exactly like the picture on the poster, we love the powdery soft yet tightly packed milk ice with natural tasting strawberry jam that came peppered with seeds, and surrounded with nice cubes of cheesecakes! The topper vanilla ice cream was normal though.

Strawberry Toast Stick - now, I wasn't keen with toast but Alex persuaded with the toast stick which featured lesser bread, albeit pricey at almost S$12 for just three sticks of bread with white chocolate coated strawberries! 

Strawberry was sweet, and helped along by the layer of white chocolate at the bottom. However, the star was the toast. It would be best described as the perfect toast; soft and fluffy insides with an exterior featuring a crunchy crisp, and topped with a light sprinkling of white sugar! How not to love?!

Definitely coming back for its thick toast next time!
