I am dead scared of food poisoning but even I couldn't resist the sheer variety of street food in Bangkok! The primary, constant worry on my mind is whether I would have sufficient stomach space to take in more food!
Satay Jae Aeng is no stranger to us and it's a must for us to revisit every time we return to Bangkok! It was the pork satay I mentioned in my post then but today, it would be another kind of satay.
Notice the difference? The disposable plate had a lot more of grilled shrimps than their signature pork satay! Honestly, we fell in love with the grilled shrimp in our last visit in 2023 and decided to go all-in this time!
Meat was fresh, sweet and succulent but there are two extra reasons why we keep going back; one, each cost only 20 baht, about S$0.75 and two, the shell for the shrimp body was already peeled, making it much easy for us to enjoy the grilled shrimps!
I didn't term this as shrimp satay because you would be given a seafood dip, instead of the usual satay sauce. Needless to say, it was the perfect dip!
Burp...
Shall be back again.
