Cream of Mushroom
@ Buckaroo
The cooling temperature at the end of the calendar year has recently increased Alex's craving for soupy stuff, with his favourite coming from Buckaroo; the ang moh style coffee shop!
A typical soup in a bread bowl; this is so humongous (and so freaky filling), i strongly recommend that two persons share one. We usually order just one bowl of soup plus a serving of onion rings... and that's for dinner.
Besides the "worth it" factor at S$8.80, picky Alex loves this for its home-made thick and creamy soup that has at least 4 different types of mushroom.
In addition, i personally thought that he secretly adores the holistic style of tearing the bread from the bowl it comes from and dipping it into the hot creamy soup!
Note: drink the soup as soon as possible!!! The bowl is obviously edible and the bread bun tends to absorb the soup as time goes by. By all means wait if you prefer to have mushy mashy bread.
For me, i am afraid i prefer the mushroom soup from Soup Spoon; the perfect soup that has tons of bite size mushroom bits.
And i am not really a carbohydrate person like pig mother.

Hi Francis,
DeleteThank you for your comment. Although the new location is further from home, at least it is nearer for many of my colleagues in my workplace.
All the best for Buckaroo's new venture! :)
Best,
