Back when i was staying at Triple Y Hotel in Bangkok a few months ago, i would take the train at Samyan MRT Station daily as it's connected to the hotel and i would take the same underground path as above.
To me, it's just an as-it-is industrial-like tunnel without any decoration. Okay, it might have the look of a train tunnel that was missing the tracks but i don't particularly find it memorable.
Apparently, i was the odd one out as many people were stopping to take selfies and photographs of this unique photo-spot! And the pictures were even popping up on my Instagram feed!
Boring I did find the transparent floor more appealing though.
For a moment, i thought it would contain some old, buried flooring from a few hundreds ago. It was as bare as the basic design of the tunnel and practicality prevails with the housing of required pipes (likely for electrical, water, fiber etc).
It's not a place i would purposely travel to but Samyan Mitrtown is actually quite a nice shopping mall; not to mention it's also quite near to Joke Sam Yan which is a place i will definitely bring my mom to on my next trip to Bangkok!
