The original Angry Birds is undeniably one of the best games i have ever purchased for just US$0.99!
With six episodes, i thought Rovio Entertainment (the game developer) would finally draw the curtains and concentrate fully on emulating the same success on Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.
That didn't happen (thank god) as my recent update installed an entirely new episode; Birdday Party! A play of pronunciation for birthday party, this is in celebration for Angry Birds' second birthday.
At the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis, i finally completed the episode and was awarded the dazzling slice of cake for three stars in all levels! *proud*
Level-18-12 was the hardest and i basically exhausted my journeys from home to work (and vice versa) just for this level! It's only towards the end that i concentrated on one simple strategy that seemed to work well.
Shoot the yellow bird and activate its puffer fish ability when you are about to hit the arrowhead area. Be patient and you might just be lucky to kill all the pigs in one shot!
Anyway, i am glad that the smug looking birds eventually get to keep their three-tier cake but boy do i feel sorry for the green pigs.
Cakes can be really tempting when the cravings hit.
