After a sumptuous dinner at DB Bistro, the Gang of Four proceeded to roam around the almost-completed Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
A leisurely walk was deemed to be necessary after that heavy intake of food! Walking aids in digestion, as my mom said.
Since my last visit, things have improved considerably in MBS! Construction is now mainly limited to the lotus-shaped Artscience Museum and it's getting more crowded (thankfully not as bad as Orchard road)!
And this time, i finally had the chance to walk along the waterfront promenade and take in the expansive night view of Singapore's central business district right opposite us!
It was still drizzling and the cool weather gave me that false yet blissful impression i am overseas. An alfresco coffee house seemed to be a great addition to the cooling outdoors then.
There's no doubt MBS is going to be the "in" place for everyone in the near future. And to tell you the truth, i am freaking excited!!!
